The Hillel at ASU Internships are designed for students to gain valuable experience in a variety of areas. With opportunities to develop innovative initiatives, build relationships with new students, support Hillel’s institutional advancement efforts, and execute office projects, there is something for everyone!

Students interested in a Hillel internship can receive credit or parking as compensation. Based on ASU standards to receive academic credit for an internship, we have delineated clear expectations for all interns below.

General Expectations

Attend a weekly leadership seminar every Friday from 12:00-1:30pm during the semester.
Assist, Implement and Plan events for the Jewish student body
Outreach and connect with 10 Jewish students every month
Blog about your experiences: 1 blog entry/month of 300 words about something awesome happening at Hillel. Things you could blog about include: reflection on a past event, friend you made at Hillel, why you are connected to Hillel, something inspiring that you did/saw/heard about, something you learned through Hillel – through your internship, through a conversation, or through an experience.
Grow as a student, leader and Jewish community member through this awesome Hillel opportunity!

Applications are due by Friday, December 13th at 4pm.

After submitting an application, eligible candidates will be required to attend an interview at Hillel. All Interns will attend a MANDATORY orientation session on Sunday, January 12, 2014 from 11am-3pm.
